Greyhound Walking Groups

R2R have adopted all these greyhounds into loving homes - roll-over the images for their names and click for a larger photo.

Scooby & Gracie

A Cuddly Couple - Scooby was originally adopted out by R2R as a companion for Gracie (brindle), but later due to ill health the owner had to relinquish the dogs and R2R set about finding a home for each dog. A family met Scooby on a Greyhound Walk and fell in love with him, but alas they only wanted ONE greyhound!

During the dogs short stay in separate foster homes, it became apparent that young Scooby was highly distressed without Gracie.

To our delight, the family agreed to meet Gracie and then adopted both dogs - these lovely pics were taken after the dogs were reunited by their new adoptive family.

Lottie

Lottie is so amazing - she was adopted before we had the chance to put her profile up. Her Foster Mum took her into school for a visit and the Principal fell instantly in love with her. Lottie is an exceptional girl and she now has a very special job to do, she will be regularly visiting the library at the local primary school so children can read to her.

We can’t wait to hear more about Miss Lottie with the children.

Plum

Plum is the type of dog to follow you around and get into everything.  She now lives in a house near Coburg with a young couple.  She's loving city life and the cafe scene.

Greyhound Smurf
Smurf

The parents of our foster carer fell in love with Smurf, a beautiful blue boy.  He now lives in a house near Narre Warren with the retired couple and a whippet.  His adopted parents are now involved in Racing2Rehome and support us at different events.

Ned

Ned lives near the beach in Bass Coast Shire.  He's the only dog in the house, because that's how he likes it.  He gets daily beach walks.  Shortly after being adopted, he went on a road trip (pet friendly accommodation).  Ned loves the car, and spends most of his car time upside down.  Ned joins us on our Berwick walks, and meets up with his brother, Red (another Racing 2 Rehome graduate).
