Denzel is a happy and sweet two year old boy. He is very affectionate and loves cuddles and being inside the house! He is toilet trained and behaves well in the house. He is very friendly and wants to say hello to every person he sees on walks, although due to social distancing, he hasn’t actually been able to meet many people!  Denzel walks well on lead most of the time, but can be a bit strong when he sees something that interests him (people, dogs, motorbikes and bicycles!).

 

Denzel is a good eater and is food motivated – a food treat will help you to get him to move when he is lying down! He is quite happy sleeping most of the day, but he has the occasional spurt of energy where he will do zoomies around the yard or play with a toy or even engage in a bit of rough play with his humans!

 

Denzel has been fostered as solo dog, but has been happy and friendly towards other dogs he has met on walks. If you have a dog, your dog will need to be okay with a bit of rough play.

 

Denzel is still learning how to get into the car, but travels well. He finds stairs and smooth floors a bit of challenge, so he would prefer a single level home with carpeted living areas, or a family willing to patiently help him overcome those challenges (food treats will help!).
