If you’re looking for affection and a bit of a spark then Sapphire could be the perfect dog for you. This tiny pocket-rocket will greet you with adorable little bounces and her whole body wags every time you come through the front door. With super soft ears, she loves coming over for ear rubs and chin strokes and will gaze at you with her stunning eyes, complete with natural eyeliner!

Sapphire is proof that great things come in tiny packages, she is a very small greyhound with a big personality! She loves to know what you are up to and will supervise WFH very competently, but she will also occupy herself happily with her toys, trotting them around the house from place to place. Mr Quacky is her favourite and her constant companion. Shoes also tend to get redistributed, fortunately she’s not destructive.

She loves her walks and is learning to walk nicely on a lead, although she is so excited at the beginning she will bounce to the end of the road. Out and about she’s very confident, happy to ignore other dogs, including ones barking behind fences. She can be quite strong on the lead, especially when she is bouncing - which happens when she sees something very interesting.

Sapphire travels well in the car - just lies down and you don’t hear a peep from her. She’s always keen to get out and investigate at the other end. Loud noises don’t seem to faze her.

She's currently living with teens and another greyhound, so would suit a family where someone is home most of the time. Also a confident doggie companion who is willing to tolerate or join in play. She definitely needs a garden as she will happily spend lots of time out there just sniffing and trotting and contemplating the flowers with the odd zoom thrown in.

After a difficult start to life she can be very wary in new situations, but curiosity always overcomes her wariness and, given time and space, her personality comes through every time as she is just so keen to find out about everyone and everything.
