Billy’s favourite time of day is his morning walk - he behaves well on the leash and just loves exploring the neighbourhood.

Billy is a young boy who has lots of energy so needs longer walks, or space in the backyard to let it out with zoomies. He is very good with people and is incredibly affectionate, very loving and cuddly. Billy thinks that all humans are his new best friend and will follow them around without being pushy. He’s a leaner, so good scritches will result in him leaning against you!

Billy has been living in foster with a 7yo male greyhound who has always ruled the roost. The two get on really well together and will often play. He has also met and spent time with a large Labrador who he was initially a little unsure of, but quickly became friends. Billy hasn’t had much opportunity to interact with smaller dogs, but the odd passing sniff out walking has been fine.

He loves to run and play with toys. His favourite are plush toys with squeakers, but he will also chase and fetch a tennis ball if his humans want to play too.

Billy loves the car and can get in or out without assistance and will take any opportunity to go for a ride - so unattended car doors beware! He seems to not mind noise and excitement or barking dogs. Even neighbours partying don’t phase him, as he’s happy just being a relaxed pet greyhound.

Billy has spent some days home alone without issue, though he is always super excited when his humans come home - if he can see you and he’s outside he’ll remind you that he’s there. But if you are out of sight, you’re out of mind and so he’s content with his own company and as long as he has his soft toys.
