Meet Daisy, a sweet gentle and very strikingly pretty girl. Daisy has adjusted well to pet life and is now looking for her forever home. Daisy sleeps through the night, loves to eat, is very happy to travel in the car, (still requires a little assistance getting in) and enjoys hanging out with you whatever you might be doing.

Currently Daisy enjoys two walks a day, even if the evening walk is just a quick 10 min walk around the block, this gives Daisy the opportunity to have a good sniff, check out the wee mail and stretch her legs. Daisy walks very well on the lead and is happy to sniff other dog breeds and then move on. She does not like being barked at, even from behind the fence and will give those dogs or houses a wide berth.

Daisy is a sensitive girl who can be a bit reserved initially, but soon will be your best friend. Generally, she is not interested in toys, and much prefers to hanging out with her person be it while they water/weed the garden, wandering around, cook or watch TV. Daisy does enjoy a zoom so it would be great if her forever home had a grassed area for zooming, and to wander around and sniff.

Daisy is no trouble at night, easily sleeping through. She currently sleeps in her own bed in her foster carers room. Daisy has not been given the opportunity get on the couch or bed but has looked longingly at the couch placing one foot on it with the idea of climbing up. Hence, if you’re so inclined she would be very happy to find the most comfortable chair/couch in your house to enjoy a pat/cuddle and snooze on. Daisy is a smart girl and has learnt boundaries quickly, she mostly stays out of the kitchen, waits when her food is put down and usually waits at the front door before coming in. Daisy walks very well on the lead.

Be it watching TV, gardening, working at the computer, going for a walk, drive or heading off to the café, Daisy is your girl, she will be happy to be with you all the time wherever you go. She is currently fostered with another greyhound, but we think would be just as happy to be by herself if her family are around most of the time. Daisy has really only been left at home by herself if the dogs are being walked separately, so a retired couple/person, part time worker or perhaps a busy family with someone home most of the time would be great for her.

Daisy is such an easy girl to live with and will be greatly missed by her foster home. Will you be lucky enough to be this lovely girl’s forever family?
