Daph or Daphy if she is being silly!
Daphne is a beautiful and friendly girl who is VERY affectionate. She just loves pats and cuddles - and so, loves meeting new people and wags her tail as soon as she hears a knock at the door (aiming to get more pats out of everyone else)!

Daphne is the epitome of a velcro dog - she will follow you into every room as she likes to make sure she doesn't miss out on any action. Daphne is well behaved in the house and always tries to do the right thing. She doesn't always get it right when she is quite excited but is still learning all the time. She has (almost) mastered not going into the kitchen whilst waiting for din dins although she will still wait at the very edge of the entrance so she can make sure it is coming.

Daphne is quite energetic, loves doing zoomies, playing with toys and loves going for walks. Daphne gets very excited when she realises, we are going for a walk! Daphne can be strong at the start (due to excitement) but calms down after a short while and wants to take in all her surroundings. Daphne still gets excited seeing other dogs on a walk, but her social skills are improving. Daphne is better with larger dogs but needs more socialisation to get used to smaller dogs.
Daphne would benefit from a 30 minute walk daily and another long play session chasing her toys to burn off her energy.

Daphne loves her toys (especially squeaky ones). Her favourite activity is chasing her toys although she does not bring it back, she trots proudly with it to a corner or spot she can keep it while waiting for you to throw it again. Daphne does not resource guard and is happy for you to grab it off her to throw again!
She would be better around children 8yrs+ as she loves zoomies and sometimes doesn't realise, she is not a small girl.

Daphne can be very silly and will provide lots of entertainment. She is very intrigued by mirrors and tilts her head while looking at her beautiful self.

Daphne travels fine in the car and lays down after a couple of minutes. She has been fostered with and 8yo Grey and they have become good friends. Ideally Daphne’s new forever home would have another grey friend (but should cope solo if people are home most of the day) as she can become upset when her humans are away from the house for a long period of time.
Daphne would thrive in home with people who can play with her and give her much love and affection which she will happily return twofold!
