- An active home with lots of love to give this beautiful gal
If making you belly laugh was a competition, Evie would win every day of the week.
This charming blue girl is always doing something to make you smile - whether it's resting her snoot on your lap, nuzzling her chin over your knee for pats, eating her food with her toot in the air, or moving all of her toys from one spot around the house to another - very organised! Unlike her ears which she sometimes will flop upwards like a Dorito - a hilarious sight to behold.
Evie has a habit of doing an open mouth smile when you pat her sweet spot behind her ears, and seems to have a grin permanently spread across her face. She loves anyone who enters the house, and has done well with small humans the few times she has met them!
Evie likes to follow her humans around the house and has taken well to her foster brother who is also a greyhound. She will happily laze on the couch with him if allowed, though she understands no means no. No stranger to a soft toy, Evie loves to hoard items and thinks peanut butter lick mats are the best thing since chicken nuggets.
Evie loves to say hi to every human she meets on her walks, but nothing sets her tail a-wagging like meeting doggy friends on these strolls. She is full of beans and would do well with a 30+ minute walk each day to sniff all the smells. Evie is very polite and friendly with dogs big and small, but - like most puppers - she prefers to have her toys and food to herself.
Evie is very excitable on walks, in fact we don't think she fears anything! She's mastered stairs, lifts, trains, car rides, and doesn't seem fazed at all by loud traffic. She would be best suited in a home with people who can redirect her excitement and energy on walks in positive ways.
Evie would be best in a home where she is either an only dog or living with another dog. She can be left home for hours without issue, as she lets her snoot lead her to new adventures around the house! Nothing crazy, you might just occasionally walk in to see her sniffing your washing machine!
