Jordan is a sweet and spunky boy! He has flip-floppy ears like a radar and likes to roach on his back when relaxed. He LOVES playing fetch and is even clever enough to play a bit of hide-and-seek with his toys. He especially likes sunbathing in the backyard and is a talented interior decorator, occasionally bringing (but never destroying) select items from around the house to pretty up his bed space, where he will happily plonk himself and snooze the day away.

He is inquisitive and curious, keen to keep an eye on his humans and getting involved with their daily activities. As such, he will require continued support to build up his tolerance around being alone as this is still a new experience for him. Being food-oriented helps with training. A family who can provide him with structure and positive reinforcement is ideal. We feel that he will learn to trust in himself and mellow out over time. He currently prefers to sleep next to his humans at night and is working hard to practice ‘wait’ and ‘stay’. He can also be a cheeky Houdini so it is important that his new home is well fenced and safe for him to roam around in.

He is excellent travelling in the car and is house trained. He loves going out walking, and is well behaved, walking well on the lead and reorienting from distractions quickly with some encouragement. Jordan is a real ladies man so he would suit well in a home with a medium/large female companion. We think Jordan will also be fine as a solo hound as long as he is in a family situation where his humans are home more often than not. Jordan does require further socialisation with male dogs so will require a family that can help him with this. During his time with us, he has not displayed any resource guarding and has respected the boundaries of an older female greyhound.

Jordan will be a very loyal companion who will bring a lot of spark and warmth to your life!
