- A family where people are home more often than not

Kevy is a lovely boy with a big heart. He loves everyone he meets, is very gentle and loves pats and scratches around his cheeks.

He would ideally suit a family home because of his gentle nature. If excited he does little upright jumps but never jumps on people. His behaviour on lead is exceptional, he never approaches or barks at other dogs unless they do so first. Although he did bark at the only cat he has seen! He is quietly curious about other creatures though, watching birds, ponies and rabbits. He enjoys a 30-40 minute brisk walk and loves to break into a run if you run alongside him. He is not bothered in noisy environments but he has no love for whipper snippers or the vacuum cleaner.

Kevy can be a sook when left alone, and will cry at the door if left outside. He much prefers to be left inside, but if it's for more than 5 hours he will of course need a doggy door for toileting. He is toilet trained and will let you know if he needs to go.

He sleeps on his doggy bed in your room or a regular bed in the guest room. If he's been naughty he heads to "his room" without being asked. He also goes to his room when he needs some quiet time. He doesn't play with lots of toys but interactive toys are a favourite when he does play.

He doesn't realise his size and often head buts things or gets stuck in small spaces because he gets in then can't turn around. He is a sweet loving boy with an adorable klutzy disposition. He is super happy when people are laughing at his antics and gets so excited he often ends up getting into further strife. Getting in or out of a car he may bump his head but that's not a problem to him as he still travels fine in the car.
He would suit a household where people are home more often than not.
