Lass has finally made it to retirement, and she is ready to relax. She has seen a lot in her time and seeks the simpler things in life, a comfy spot to snooze, a cuddle, and a good feed.
This old gal is an early bird and loves a brisk morning walk - she is no slouch! That first hour of the day is her most active hour, almost living up to her Tasmanian Tiger-like markings (in reality a 20 minute stroll will suffice!), have a hearty breakfast, and has no shame to crawl back into bed for the better part of the day. She appreciates a second afternoon or evening walk to stretch her legs but nothing too strenuous because of an old injury.
Lass has had a full life and is happy to keep to herself. She prioritizes chasing smells over meeting new dog friends, big or small. She might give them a nod but has her own agenda and is largely the same with passing humans and children too. She is comfortable with traffic and takes all types of sounds in her stride.
It hasn’t been tested much but I think she will manage fine having some periods of time by herself in the house. She is easy going and would probably fit in to a lot of households, but I’d say a smaller, quieter home would be her preference. Her eyesight isn’t what it used to be, but if I wasn’t told it, I would never have guessed it! However, down the track having a smaller yard like in a unit, with less obstacles for her to navigate will provide the stress-free future she deserves.
With those doting eyes, it’s near impossible not to fold to her requests for affection and pats. She has a lot of love to give and rivals any teddy bear out there. She’s an absolute sweetheart and it’s time for her to be cherished.
