Mardy is a sweet-as-pie bundle of love who would make a great addition to any family!
Mardy is a relatively placid dog, whose primary concern in life is to obtain the best possible spot on the sofa- though that’s not to say he doesn’t enjoy his walk time. Mardy has grown to expect two short walks a day in the morning and evening, fifteen to twenty-five minutes a day each walk. He is fairly obedient on a leash although more time should prevent cats and other dogs proving a distraction to him. Beyond his walks, he is largely sedate, though he gets short bursts of energy from time-to-time and therefore will need a grassy backyard for his “zoomies”.
Mardy is incredibly affectionate and enjoys spending time with his family and hates to be excluded from happenings in the household. Therefore, Mardy’s preferable family would be made up of part-time workers or retirees to ensure that he does not become too lonely.
Although Mardy has had limited interactions with medium and large dogs and he has been fine although he would benefit from continued socialisation.
He is very friendly towards all people, but Mardy would be best in a home with children above the age of 8 years.
Overall, Mardy is a charming not-so-little lovebug who would suit a quiet, relaxed family home with an abundance of affection and time for him.
