Piccolo is known to his mates as Pickle! He is a soft-natured, affectionate, snoozy and cheeky boy. His handsome face and loving personality make it near impossible not to immediately fall in love with him. He loves to sunbathe in the grass, play fetch, play with toys, and roach on his back. Most of all, he loves cuddles with his humans and even likes to clamber up like a lap dog and rest his head in the nook of your neck.

He is a very quick learner, and would be able to be taught a range of different tricks and skills with training, as we have seen him do so already. He is fully toilet-trained, sleeps through the night, travels comfortably in the car, and is not fazed by busy or noisy environments in the outside world. He walks well on lead, responds well to verbal cues and positive affirmations. Pickle is trusting of all humans and is very sociable; just lapping up attention from everyone. He still needs more socialisation training to get used to other breeds of dogs.

After a morning walk, Pickle is content to snooze away the day and likes to be involved with whatever activities the humans are doing. Ideally, he thrives off two walks in a day, even if that second walk is just a short stroll around the block. Pickle has been living with an older female greyhound, and they have bonded quickly. They have been content being left at home in an enclosed backyard when the humans have gone out to work in the day. He respects her space, and the rules of the house around sharing. Pickle would be suitable as a solo dog, or as a companion to other medium/large dogs in the home, preferably with a calm temperament. Given that he is a little clumsy, he would be better suited to a home with children over 8 years

Pickle is a beautiful, loving dog and will no doubt make his future family incredibly happy.
