Vega (aka Vege) has a sweet, pure soul. He’s easy-going and affectionate and loves a good pat when he meets someone new.

Vege loves a good sniff all around, as anyone with a nose that long should. Sometimes he can get a bit scared of loud noises like trams or cars, but in general, if you walk him through smaller streets and give him time to get familiar with the area he will start to feel more confident.

During the day he mainly sleeps or lies around and loves to be on the couch. We walk him once in the morning and once or twice at night.

Vege will follow you everywhere you go in the house, as he likes to know what’s going on. Preferably his new family would be made up of part-time workers/retirees or folks working from home. He feels it's not much fun being alone for too long, but can cope for a few hours in a day.

Vege is friendly and relaxed with other dogs as long as they aren't jumping all over him. He especially likes meeting other greyhounds! He haven’t have much contact with small dogs, but they haven't been a problem so far. But don't leave him in the presence of possums for too long or he might go a bit nuts...

Overall, he’s a funny and lovable companion. He is a very cute napper and a professional couch potato. We love Vege very much and we think his new family will too.
