Hi, I’m Will!
And even if I say so myself, I’m a strikingly handsome fella! My foster mum tells me I’m an adorable young goofy boy, who will give you endless laughs and lots of entertainment. Well, I must admit she is constantly laughing at me as we play tug of war over her latest jumper or jacket, that I’m just trying to carry off. Yep, that is my specialty – I’m always looking for something to carry around the house. I love dragging all the dog blankets from other rooms and trotting off to my favourite spot!
I’m generally a happy boy and I just love to play with soft toys – boy, am I good at catching them! When the boss throws them in the air - I can spin on a dime! I'm fine with kids, but my exuberance in play might knock over the little ones.
But mainly I just want to hang out with you, whatever you are doing - watching TV, tapping on the computer or doing some gardening. I can try and help with biting off weeds or digging at the soft earth too!
I think this lark of daily walks is such a great adventure – sometimes we even go in the car to new places – how cool is that! Some days I get two walks – but mainly it’s one big one and then some play time jumping and running after my thrown toys. I'm not scared of anything, even though big noisy trams or shopping streets.
In the evening, I sometimes go for a zoomie in the backyard just to finish a perfect day! And I might come and shove my head under your arm, if I feel I’m overdue for cuddles and you have been too long on the computer.
Oh, and I’ve even been to Dog Club a few times and mum says I’m such a good boy to walk beside those little fluffy white things (are they really dogs) and just ignore them. In fact, I’m living with another greyhound and I always wag my tail at new dogs that I meet out and about. I would love a home with another medium / large dog to play with, but I could cope as a solo dog and I might even manage to adapt to full-time workers if I got enough walks and cuddles.
If you don’t come and meet me – you just don’t know how much happiness and laughter your life is missing out on!
