Charming Clive has been blossoming while in foster care and is now looking to charm his future forever family! There has been a lot to learn about pet life and Clive is working hard at mastering it. He has learnt the joys of toys and often enjoys chewing a soft toy or chasing a ball around.

Clive has grown to realise that humans are exciting, and is happy to take pats from people he meets on walks and then politely move on. Visitors to the home are ultra-exciting though and Clive can go a little bit crazy with excitement when greeting them before settling down again.

Like most greyhounds, Clive loves lying around, except for when he has his playful moments. He can be a little rough in his play with humans, but a good zoomie session in the backyard chasing a ball will get the silliness out of him. He really needs a home with a large yard where he can have a good run around to burn off his excited energy. Since he can be a bit boisterous, he would be best suited for homes with older children or adults only.

Clive is a teachable dog and has learnt to nudge doors open and to wait at the back door before coming in. He has the potential to learn more good manners too. He loves his food and can be motivated by treats if he is being stubborn.

Clive enjoys outings in the car and if his motivation is high enough, he can jump into the car with no assistance, but most times he climbs in using a stool and sometimes needs a bit of physical assistance too.

Clive gets quite excited when he sees the lead coming out, but once he settles, he walks well on lead, with only some gentle tugging. He has been social with the dogs that he has met and could live happily with a medium-large doggy friend, although he is also happy living on his own in foster care. He can be a bit too boisterous in his play to live with a playful small dog.

Once he gets to know you, Clive bonds well with his favourite people, following them around the house, but is also quite happy sleeping by himself in the family room overnight.

If you're ready to welcome Clive into your family and provide him with the love and space he needs to thrive, don't hesitate to reach out. This lovable greyhound is eagerly waiting to charm his way into your heart and home!
