- A home with lots of love to give this stunning boy

Meet Fergus, the sweetest and most gentle greyhound you'll ever meet. Fergus has adapted remarkably well to city life and enjoys his walks with his human. If you're an active person who loves to run, Fergus is your ideal running companion!
He walks well on a leash, though he may pull occasionally when he spots another dog. A firm “No” or “Leave it” gets his attention, and he responds well to these commands. Fergus is curious during walks, with his ears perked up and nose keen to explore. If you ask him to keep walking, he happily follows.

Fergus is well toilet trained and will let you know when he needs to go. He prefers to do his business during his walks or runs. Understanding that his human has a busy work schedule, Fergus has adjusted well to being left alone at home, as long as he has access to an outdoor area.

Friendly and approachable, Fergus enjoys a pat or two from people. While he hasn't had much exposure to children, he's shown no negative reactions to them during his walks in the park.

He interacts well with other greyhounds and large dogs. Though he tends to approach smaller dogs, he can get a bit intimidated by their barking and may need some reassurance, therefore he will benefit from further doggie socialisation

Fergus is still learning about toys and hasn’t quite gotten into playing with them yet, but he channels his energy into daily runs with his human. He travels well in the car, settling down comfortably once you start driving. Initially, he might need a little help getting into the car, but he’s a quick learner and has mostly mastered this on his own.

Fergus would thrive in a home where he is shown love and affection. He does well being left alone, so a family or single household with full-time work would be a good fit. He gets along well with other greyhounds or larger dogs, so having a canine companion is a plus. Given his need for at least 45 minutes of exercise daily, Fergus would be best suited for someone who can dedicate time to his exercise needs.
