What a difference a few months makes!
Harriet was found wandering in Melbourne malnourished, 10kg under weight with open sores and a dreadful rough coat.

After much TLC and lots of quality food and supplements she is a completely different dog. Back up to 28.2kg she has a shiny black coat with a spring in her step - it is just her distinguished silver grey highlights that gives her age away.

Harriet is a darling who just wants a soft bed, love and FOOD!

Harriet may be 10yrs old but you wouldn’t know it. She loves her walks and always has a spring in her step. Sniffing on her walk can lead to sudden zig zagging if not on a short lead, so will need an agile owner.

She's shown no interest when around a friend's cat, and is good with fenced chickens and is fine to walk past other dogs, as long as they are not in her face. She is happy to hang out around other polite greyhounds.

Harriet just wants to be with you and does the famous greyhound lean in for cuddles. Otherwise her ears are the special spot and they are such cute ears!

She loves company so would suit people who are home more often than not. She loves to take herself out the dog flap (soft material at this stage) to lay in the sun.
• Doesn’t do toys. Sleeps all night. Toilet trained.
• Is very talkative via squeaks (never heard her bark) and has the most adorable flopsy ears.
• Does closed stairs but open stairs are scary – could get there with practice and bribery.
• Happy travelling in the car on her bed but needs a lift in. Will jump out.
• Isn’t bothered by traffic or other loud noises.
• Loves to snack on carrots, cucumber, sweet potato and probably lots of other fruit and veg.

This sweet, friendly girl will make the best companion - can you open your heart to give loving retirement years to Harriet?
