If you get the chance to meet Rascal, there will be no looking back – it will be an instant adoption for this delightfully, rascally boy!
Apart from his stunning good-looks – yes, he is a head-turner with those cute ears – he has charm and personality.
Rascal just LUVS people and greets everyone he meets with big leans into them to ensure he gets his share of pats and attention. He loves to chill out and snooze you - wherever you are. He’s curious about this new pet world experience and so will follow you around to investigate whatever you are up to.
He just has such a lovely happy nature with people and with the greyhounds he lives with. He loves to play chasey with younger greyhounds and is content to leave the older (don’t want to play) greyhounds alone. He is happy to just grab a toy and do a few zoomies to entertain himself. His zooming means that although he is fine with kids, they would be best to be not too small.
He’s very easy-going around the greyhounds in his foster home and shows absolutely no resource guarding of food or beds. He would enjoy and be a good buddy to another greyhound, but we think he would also be fine as a solo dog.
Rascal walks well on leash and has been friendly towards the other breed dogs he has met when out walking, but he is still getting used to and curious of these other funny looking dogs!
Although he was named Rascal as a puppy due to his misbehaving adventures, we find him a well-behaved boy now. And we think that he has finally stopped stealing toilet-rolls even though they are such fun to rip up!
Rascal sleeps quietly through the night. And of course he is toilet trained and will stand at the door to let you know he needs a nature break. He is a good traveler in the car and just snoozes the time away.
Rascal would love a family that are around a lot, but he has such an easy nature we think he would cope fine with a full-time working home, as long as he has a yard and got his daily walk.
