Meet the gorgeous Taffy, who just wants to be loved and be your loyal companion!
This boy ticks so many boxes!

• Fully house trained and so smart as he taught himself to use the dog-door
• Just wants to be hanging out with you and roach and snooze nearby – whether you are on the computer, watching TV or doing the gardening
• He really enjoys head rubs and when he is roaching – belly rubs
• Currently not allowed on the couch, but he would just love to cuddle up there beside you – he does have a silky shiny black coat which is very pattable!
• Gets on well in a household of 3 male greyhounds, but should be fine as a solo dog
• Luvs his daily walk, but doesn’t need a long one
• Is happy to meet other dogs of any size when out walking
• Walks well on lead – currently his foster mum walks the 3 greys together!
• Is mostly a chilled boy, but has one or two very short bursts of excited goofy silliness every day - so too boisterous for young kids
• Some playtimes with his toys – with the occasional decapitations!
• When going out, he can be left inside the home as he is not destructive - and he is always uber excited to greet you on returning
• Luvs his food (anything!) and has no resource guarding of food or toys
• Very respectful of leaving the other dogs to slowly finish their meals
• Travels fine in the car
• May be okay with full-time workers if he can have access to inside the home to snooze the day away.

So, let’s face it - what more could you ask for in a greyhound companion – Taffy is just a loyal and loving hound who wants his own family to love and keep company?

His new owner needs to be aware that he has been treated for SLO whereby he has lost some of his nails. The vets were impressed at how quickly he responded to the treatment and now he will need to be kept on supplements (mainly fish oil) to manage his condition. But the cost of his weekly supplements is less than the price of two coffees – which is a small price to pay for such a loving companion.
