Karli is an lively young greyhound, who is just one year old!
So please ONLY APPLY for Karli if you can provide:
 - a house-sized backyard for her to run around
 - a doggie companion
 - regular exercise (walks)
 - on-going training for a young dog.

As you can see, she is a sweet, pretty gal, just full of energy, and to learn more about being the best friend she can be. She is very much a puppy, but her behaviour is normal "puppy" behaviour.

Karli lives in her foster home with another greyhound and a medium sized dog as well. She is coming along well with socialising with other breeds of dogs but isn't too keen on cats and other small animals. A home without either would be the best for Karli.

She enjoys going for walks, as well as car rides, and she walks well on a loose lead. She just loves water too, and has been lucky enough to be able to swim twice a day where she has been fostered, and loves it so much that her nick name is "Otter".

Karli is an excitable gal, who has learned with gentle instruction to calm down, she just loves everyone! In saying that though, a family or household with older teenage/ adults would be appropriate as she maybe a little over zealous for younger folk.

Karli loves toys and loves chasing balls, and so would appreciate a bit of backyard play. She would be appreciate her humans being around more often than not, but if you were full time workers, hanging out with a canine friend would make her happy.
She will shower you with kisses - she's so affectionate and loves cuddles.
Karli will love a family who will be dedicated to her, with lots of walks, patience and inclusion into all their activities. She would benefit with ongoing training which will help her transition with her new family.

MEDICAL NOTES:

Karli at some point has damaged her left foreleg and now has a bowed leg from the wrist, which she copes very well with and it doesn’t slow her down! R2R vets are fitting Karli with a special wrist brace to support her carpal joint. This should be used only out on walks. A full report from Port Phillip Animal Hospital can be provided.
