Hi, my name is Suzie and I can’t wait to meet you! I love people in all shapes and sizes, even the little ones - children are great….just please pat me!

I would love to have another dog to play with, but if not, I will love you enough for two dogs.

I like food. Any food, except giblets…bleurgh! I can learn things quickly if you give me treats. I can even use a dog door and learned that within a couple of hours at my foster home. My foster carer says I am very clever and a lovely girl. I have learned to be polite and not rush out when the door is opened, and I don’t jump up on people any more. I know about ‘stay’, ‘come’ and ‘back up’. Sometimes I even actually do it!

I like soft squeak toys and I will collect them and put them in my bed. I can play with them whenever I want that way. I am not allowed on the people bed, but it is very tempting and I sneak up when no one is looking. I sleep on my favourite chair or the big dog bed. I usually move into the bedroom in the early morning and sleep on the doona on the floor. That way I can be the first one to say good morning, when my foster mum wakes up. I am so pleased when this happens, so I chatter my teefs.

The only thing I don’t like is small, fluffy dogs, but I live with another greyhound and we get on just fine.

Oh, and I'm very spritely and will happily jump straight into your car to go for an adventure.
