Don't let Yorke's grey face fool you - he is a big kid at heart and is a very playful boy. Yorke loves to spend time doing zoomies and practicing throwing the ball to his people - so they can catch it! Yorke does about two 30 minute walks a day and is happy to while away the rest of the hours sleeping near his humans whilst they work, with the occasional toy squeaking session. Yorke is a calm walker, even though Yorke is big he is a gentle boy and greets other dogs and people nicely or simply waits until they pass so he can continue walking along.

Yorke has nice house manners and is happiest when he is near his people. Yorke shadows his people to make sure he's satisfied that everything is in order. House noises don't bother him... except for that pesky vacuum cleaner! He is toilet trained and gives his humans signals when he needs to go outside. Yorke is a good eater and would do just about anything for a chicken neck or some peanut butter.

This sweet boy has a very loving personality. He loves to have his ears and chin rubbed and when roaching, loves to have his belly rubbed. Yorke likes to greet his humans in the morning by putting his two front paws on the bed and standing over them to give them a sniff and a kiss.

Yorke has some funny tricks, like sleeping through the night in roach position and doing 'normal dog' sit. He also has a thing for shoes - they often disappear to his bed or the garden outside - not to be chewed, just because that's where they belong! He's a collector and picks up anything that takes his fancy and carries it off a little way!

Yorke is a cool cucumber in the car and lays down to sleep. Yorke can jump into the car when he knows he is going for an adventure, but may appreciate having some assistance to get into the car after a long walk.

As he has been fostered by himself, Yorke would be happiest being the only apple of your eye in a house where his humans are home more often than not. Yorke's home would be best suited to children 8yrs+ because he is an excitable boy and does have boisterous greetings.
