R2R Adopters & Fostercarers Christmas Party - Saturday 23rd November, 2024
Our Annual Christmas Party landed on a HOT Day, but the ever resilent Greyhound owners joined us for a delicious lunch and it was lovely to catch up with our R2R Adopters, Foster-carers and of course their Greyhounds!
Thanks to Catherine Ongarello and her team of volunteers for making this a successful day - despite the heat!
Dog Lovers Festival, Melbourne - Saturday 26th to Sunday 27th October, 2024
A change of Venue to the Melbourne Show Grounds meant the Dog Lovers Festival was bigger than ever in 2024!
The R2R Team and our greyhounds were enthusiastically promoting the joys of greyhound ownership. Our hounds were definitely popular with the public who were lining up to pat them.
Thanks to Michelle for organising the volunteers and a setting up a Gear4Greys stall - full of greyhound gear!
Caldermeade Market - Saturday, 17 August, 2024
R2R volunteers ran a FUNDRAISER BBQ at Caldermeade Farm Market and it gave people a chance to meet some of our greyhounds, while nibbling on a sausage or two!

Craigieburn Bunnings Family day - Saturday, 7 March, 2020
R2R had a small stand showing off our merchandise, as well as drawing our raffle, so if you haven't bought tickets and would like to, there are still some available (see Facebook), also we will have some hounds to meet and greet.

Wonthaggi Bunnings Sausage Sizzle - Saturday, 25 January 2020
Our wonderful volunteers just can't get enough of Sausage sizzles, they all love working together having a laugh, a chat whilst raising money to help our Hounds in our program.
Also talking about Hounds to anyone who comes to visit. If you are in the area, a feel like an up and close meeting with these wonderful dogs as well as a Sausage we would love to see you. 👍🐾🐕💜

Thanks to our wonderful volunteers who cooked at our recent Bunnings' BBQ. They just can't get enough of Sausage sizzles, they all love working together having a laugh, a chat whilst raising much needed money to help more greyhounds to enter our program.
R2R Stall at GAP Community day - Sunday, 1st December 2019
Racing 2 Rehome will have a stall with lots of great greyhound gear for sale.
So come and say hi to our R2R volunteers at the Meadows (MGRA) 10 am to 2:30 pm
80 Northcorp Blvd, Broadmeadows.
Entry is free but you and your dog must register online beforehand on the GAP website.
Malvern Gardens Greyhound Walk
This is a popular walks for Racing 2 Rehome foster-carers and may be a chance to meet your next greyhound!
A warm welcome awaits at the beautiful Malvern Public Gardens for a pleasent stroll and chat.
Starts at 9.30AM on the second Sunday each month.

Gippsland Greyhound Walk
Racing 2 Rehome volunteers and their greyhounds love the Gippsland Greyhound walk.
It meets in various locations – Mirboo North, Inverloch, Wonthaggi, Leongatha & Korumburra. So please refer to the Facebook page for the location and dates.
Generally arrive from 10am, with the walk kicking off at 10:30 am. Feel free to hang around afterwards and have a coffee with other greyhound owners. Non-greys also welcome!

Jells Park Greyhound Walk
You can normally find some Racing 2 Rehome volunteers and their greyhounds on this beautiful walk through Jells Park, and stay for a coffee and a chat afterwards.
It's held on the 3rd Saturday or Sunday (alternating) of the month.
Meet at 10 am near Madeline's coffee shop
