Sits at the back door.
Part time and full time workers at new home
Not small dog or cat friendly
Bella is a very sweet little girl. She is very active and loves running around her backyard, doing lots of zoomies and just enjoying the great outdoors and fresh air. She plays with her toys outside and has a ball! She loves the freedom of running and when she is finished and likes to chill out she sits by the back door patiently and comes in with a small command. She wasn't taught to sit, she just started doing it on her own accord, that is how clever she is and as we know only a small percentage of greyhounds sit like this.
As she is so energetic and excitable, she jumps up at times and nudges you for attention, thus children 8 years old + would be suitable in a family for Bella. She calms down with gentle guidance and is a very well behaved girl.
Bella walks well on a lead, she does not pull, but would be best not to walk near small dogs as she is not small dog friendly or for that matter cat friendly. She is tolerant of other hounds but is quite happy and content being an only pet. She just loves her homan's and enjoys being involved with the family's day to day activities.
A family of full time workers or part time workers would be fine in Bella's new home as her foster Dad works full time and she is okay by herself, mind you when he gets home, she greets him with so much love and attention. She likes to go in the car with him as well and is a good little traveller.
She sleeps right through the night and has her bed inside as we like all our greyhounds to do and is house trained as well. She has a good appetite and is just an easy kind of gal.
A family with primary aged children, or a young couple or even a single person would make Bella a very happy hound and she would be a beautiful family member who would bring a "little ray of sunshine" into their lives.
