Dougie is a super affectionate boy who loves everyone, everything and life in general.
He is known as our beautiful Dalmatian greyhound with his amazing white coat and black spots.

He is happy, to the point that when he greets you on arrival home his whole body will wag, not just his tail!
His excitedness and happiness can have him be quite strong in body strength, which has us think he would be best with kids over 10, this is simply due to his strength of excitedness, in saying this he is amazing with kids of all ages!
His smile is so big he actually shows you how white his teeth are!

Dougie walks very well on lead, does not pull and has learnt to stop at road crossing when told "waiting".
He is energetic when excited, but his initial excitedness calms down in all situations after 5 mins of his body wag and smiles! Once he has got over the initial excitedness, you will turn around and he will be on the couch upside down.

Dougie will give you daily laughs, he has a beautiful character of positiveness and it shows and does make each day more enjoyable with many laughs!
He loves his toys, throwing them in the air - but be careful with your slippers, he does enjoy pinching them and hiding them LOL
To date Dougie has been very good with other dogs, might have a sniff and continues to walk. When encountering barking dogs on his walks he rolls his eyes and if he could talk, would be saying what is your problem, life is good!!! πŸ˜‚

Dougie loves the car, but does need assistance getting in with a lift of the bum.
Copes well with noisy roads, does not take much interest in cars, trucks or any traffic within our experience.
Currently Dougie lives with people who work, so can be home alone on some days up to 6 hours.
He does not stress, as much as he loves his people, he does cope well with this home alone time, as long as he has a nice outdoor area out of weather and preferably inside access he will happily spend time between this.

Dougie sleeps all night, after giving him a good toilet break before you head to bed.
He is a very chilled boy with so much love to give, loves to put himself in a roaching position on the couch often, this being his favourite spot in the house!
So if you do not want a couch dog, Dougie is not for you.
He has learnt in his foster home not to be on beds and is very good with this.

If you are looking for fun, laughs, happiness mixed with cheeky, excited yet chilled boy Dougie could be for YOU! ❀
