Meet our delightful gentleman, Jordy!

Jordy is a sensitive soul who is a very affectionate boy. He enjoys a mix of his own space and is okay with being left alone, yet thoroughly also enjoys being beside you for cuddles on the couch. Jordy has an abundance of love to give; he is a gentle boy in nature and is an expert at sharing affection.

Jordy loves his toys! Especially his caterpillar - you will find him carrying it around everywhere he goes. He enjoys the tug of war game with his favourite caterpillar and often brings it to you to initiate the play. He has shown he can self-settle quite well when are not home, but you can expect a very excited, playful and happy greeting when you arrive home.

He always shows super excitement when he knows you’re getting ready to go for a walk! You will see the playful boy emerge with this excitement. Jordy generally walks well on a lead and enjoys walks with sniffing time along the way. Currently he enjoys one or two good walks a day to keep him very happy! Be prepared for the tug of war when leaving for a walk as Jordy thinks his caterpillar should also go!!! 😊

Jordy would be suited to a home either with another greyhound to play with during the day or as a solo dog. If you’re going to be out more than not, then a companion dog would be good. He has so much love to give and has been good with all other sized dogs he has met when out walking.

At times Jordy shows his excitement with a burst of zoomies around his yard and then returns for a snooze straight after. He is a little shoe collector - he never chews on them but if you are missing a pair be sure to check his bed! Despite being almost 4 years, he is content to lie around the house for most of the day with his blankets and soft toys. Jordy can be reserved when first meeting new people, although he will still lean in for a smooch.

Jordy is such a chilled boy that he prefers quiet households with a relaxed atmosphere.
Jordy is toilet-trained and sleeps through the night in his bed but you will have to ensure his caterpillar has gone to bed with him!
