Meet Shuggie, a gorgeous Brown and White 5yr old Cow Hound who will steal your heart the minute you meet her. Shuggie loves nothing more than a cuddle and kiss, and will climb on your lap to snuggle in for pats. When not smooching, she is excitable and full of energy and loves a good run around or zoom, so will need a yard to play in in her new home. She'll even fetch a ball for you if you throw one!

Shugs walks beautifully on lead and enjoys a good stop to sniff all the news smells in the neighbourhood. She travels well in the car but does need help getting in. She's a big girl at 30kg, so will need a strong human to give her a hand, however she will happily bound out at the end of the ride.

Shugs gets along well with other dogs of all shapes and sizes, and is confident and not bothered by traffic or unfamiliar noises. She would be happy either as a solo dog (as long as her humans were home more often than not) or with a doggy friend. She is currently living with 2 greyhound foster sisters.

She can be left home alone for a few hours, but anything longer and she may get bored and into mischief. She would not suit full-time workers who are gone all day. She is toilet trained and sleeps right through the night without needing to go out.

Shuggie would suit a family with older teenage kids, but is a bit boisterous and bouncy for little ones and may knock them over when she plays. She would love to be an integral part of her new family, going places with them, exploring the world and giving them endless love.
