Introducing Archie, a small boy who just turned 7 years and is looking for his forever family & forever-couch.

Archie was down on his luck after his adopted family of two years had a change in circumstances and he came back into foster care. After adjusting to his new surrounds, Archie has truly come out of his shell and has even been attending the local dog club where he has been honing his basic training.

He loves his walks and has currently gotten into a routine of two walks a day of at least 20mins in duration. Whilst in foster care he has been left home alone for extended periods after a walk and will gradually settle and sleep, but is happiest when his humans are home. If he is to be a solo dog, then a home where people are home more often than not would be ideal for Archie. Additionally, Archie’s favourite spot is roaching on the couch, so a dog on couch friendly household is ideal for him!

Food wise, his personality shines through. He prefers to have the meat portion of his meal separated from his kibble, and will scoff down the meat but prefers to graze throughout the day on the kibble.

He travels well in the car, but may require help to get in, though at a small 29kg, this is not difficult. He is fully toilet trained and is happy to use a dog door to come and go as needed. Archie would prefer a household with adults, however children over the age of 12 who will respect his space are fine.
