Elsie is the definition of a laid-back, loving companion. Vacuums, noisy households, visitors, other pets, city traffic—nothing seems to faze her. She simply takes it all in with her trademark calm and gentle spirit.

She adores human company and would happily soak up pats and cuddles all day long. That said, she's also perfectly comfortable being left at home during the workday. This makes her equally suited to full-time workers, retirees, or families with children aged 8 years and older.

Elsie has excellent manners and is a dream to walk. She happily trots along at your pace, content with anything from a short 10-minute stroll to a leisurely 30-minute walk. She has learned to jump into the car on her own and travels beautifully. During a recent weekend in the city she was completely unfazed by the noise, crowds, and bustle of city life.

Food isn't a big motivator for Elsies. However, she does have a soft spot for sharing and patiently waits for the chance to enjoy a few tasty morsels. Her particular weakness? Hot chips! In Elsie's world, if it's good enough for you, it's good enough for her.

One of her cutest quirks is her love of a warm blow wave on a chilly morning. If you're drying your hair, don't be surprised to find Elsie happily soaking up the warm air beside you.
