Little Ivy is a pretty fawn girl in excellent health. She is a lovely girl who adores being around (and following) her special human.

She has been much loved in a home for over four years, and she is being surrendered as her owners are moving overseas to live. Ivy loves all the people in her circle; she welcomes everyone who comes to the house and sometimes tries to leave with them if she really likes them! Ivy adores companionship and she displays affection by coming up to you when you are seated and gently rubbing her face on you until you give her pets and kisses.

She walks very well on the lead and stands still while you put her harness on! She enjoys a 20-minute walk at the local parks with plenty of sniffs. After her walk she enjoys a good long nap, like all greyhounds. This makes her ideal for someone who works full time as she is not a destructive dog when left alone and has no signs of separation anxiety.

She is not reactive to other dogs and loves to play zoomies with her greyhound brother and has a good relationship with her little Jack Russell sister (who is the boss).
Ivy can be a little afraid of bicycles and is frightened of thunder/fireworks, but nothing a good cuddle won’t fix.

Ivy enjoys toys and loves to steal them and relocate items to her bed, including any other dog’s bed! She is excellent at travelling in the car and is a very well-behaved and clever girl. She takes treats very gently, so you won’t have to count your fingers!

Ivy is very gentle with kids but would probably suit a mature person who is active and can give her all the love she deserves. She will fit into a new home without trouble and is of course toilet trained. Ivy responds to commands like Stay, Sit, Bed, and Come.

Ivy loves spending time with her very own human – could that be you?
