Jill is the sweetest girl - who wants nothing more than to love and give you affection!
She is adores meeting people – happily greeting them gently with kisses and sniffs and cannot get enough pats in! She enjoys being brushed and will literally stand quietly with a dreamy doggie expression for you not to stop. Jill absolutely loves to be part of home life and will quietly watch you as you move around doing daily things – mesmerised by her humans. She is patient and sensitive within the home and is relaxed enough to be left alone for periods of time. She is house trained and aware not to sit on couches or jump up to steal food at the dining table – she is polite and respectful. She has not been trained on high flights of stairs – however if allowed she undoubtedly would adapt with ease. Currently she happily uses 3-4 steps regularly.
Jill really enjoys her soft squeaky toys and will chew happily on the ears in her soft toy on her favourite bed or outside. Car rides are excellent and she thoroughly enjoys the prospect of a trip in the car on the back seat. She is good at hopping in when she knows its time to set off.
Jill is well toilet trained using her outside area. If the door is closed she will whimper gently to let her human(s) know she is ready. She is athletic and shiny coat healthy and thoroughly enjoys a walk morning and evening. Jill will quietly wait while you attach her harness and leash. She walks well on the leash and knows to stop to cross the road each time. She is still nervous of other dogs who wish to sniff her directly face to face – in time she will gain her confidence with more socialisation and patience.
She has had good exposure to living within a home and is therefore very relaxed. She will sleep soundly through the night on her bed. Her bed is not next to the main bedroom so she is good and relaxed at sleeping in her allocated space. She sleeps nicely during the day also.
Jill is a clever, confident and sensitive girl. She reads her humans well and would be best suited to quiet – relaxed home life. Children over 12. Additionally, she would be suited to being the only pet at this stage – however, in time another greyhound could be introduced. A home where her humans are more often than not home.
Jill is a stunning dog with a beautiful soul. She reads you and whoever adopts her to be her human will have a life full of love, fulfillment and happiness
