Lou is a handsome boy with stunning amber eyes, who just wants to hang out with you!
He’s a sweet, loyal boy and loves cuddles from the people he knows – but is still shy around strangers. He has previously lived in a home, so of course he settles down and sleeps through the night until whatever time you get up. He is always very happy to have a cuddle in the morning before he dashes out to do his business.

He travels well in the car and happily jumps straight in without any assistance!

Lou enjoys his walks and isn’t too bothered by traffic or trams, but he is wary of strangers and will stand back when the other hounds are pushing forward for a pat from any passerby. But we know that over time this will improve as he just LUVS getting pats and cuddles from his foster mum.

He’s not allowed on the furniture in his foster home, but it’s obvious that he has been a lounge-hound previously, and he would just love to get up and lie beside you. He loves human company and can always be found in whatever room you are in. In fact he is a very happy lively boy at home around his foster mum! But he is still shy around visitors, but getting braver all the time!

Lou at random times during the day will interrupt his snoozing to enjoy a play session with his toys! He will dance around a toy and keep pouncing on it in a cute/silly fashion making you laugh. He can often be seen carrying toys around the house and he loves to take them outside, which of course her leaves them there for you to collect later! On these sunny autumn days he will pop out several times during the day to lie on the lawn and have a snoozing in the sun.

He is toilet-trained and uses a dog-door (with the heavy flap propped open) or otherwise he will stand near a door to let you know his needs. He eats anything and licks his bowl lovely and clean!

He is currently living happily with two male greyhounds and would be best suited to a home with another greyhound or medium/large dog. He is fine with other dogs, whether big or small and he greets them all with a gentle sniff.
If he had a medium/large doggie companion to keep him company, then he would probably cope with being left during the day if the home was with full-time workers. He could even be left inside (with access to outside) as he has not shown destructive.
