Percy is a gentle smoochy boy who needs a calm and quiet home to retire in. Percy is starting to enjoy playing with soft toys and will often take them to his bed to snuggle. He’s also fond of slippers and shoes that smell nice and will gently place them in his bed. He has never been destructive with anything.

He walks beautifully on lead, happily stopping to check out all the new smells. Is content with a 20 minute walk once per day and then spends the rest of his day snoozing. He doesn’t need a big yard to run in, but would be happy with a small patch of grass or garden to explore.

Percy sleeps through the night on his bed and tells you in the morning when he’s awake by gently nudging you and asking to go outside to toilet. He has lovely manners.

Percy is fine with other medium to big dogs, but is still too keen on small fluffies. He would be fine as a solo dog as long as his humans were around more often than not. He currently lives with two female greyhounds who have taught him how to be the perfect pet and he gets on well with them.

Percy is still scared of loud noises and would ideally be better suited to a families with no younger children living at home. He is currently fostered in a home with teenagers and he copes okay. He likes to quietly lie around and will often be found snoozing on human beds or couches. He has adapted quickly to pet life but can be shy with strangers at first, but given a little time he soon warms up to them.

Percy is fully toilet trained and will go to the door to tell you when he needs to go out. He loves going in the car, although he does need help getting in. Visits to the beach, coffee shops and parks are always fun!
